Club competition details

(These details should be read in conjunction with Rules for Club Competitions).

CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES, 4 bowls, played to 21 shots.

HANDICAP SINGLES, 4 bowls, 21 shots for the player with the lower handicap, 21 shots plus the difference in handicaps shall be played instead of full handicap.

SCRATCH MINOR SINGLES, 4 bowls, 21 shots.

This competition is limited by the rules to those members who have NOT previously won a club Singles Competition and whose Handicap is Five or under.

TWO BOWLS SINGLES, 2 bowls, played to 21 ends.

(First rounds on fixed date).

TWO BOWL SINGLES, 2 bowls, 21 ends, played to a yardstick.

Nearest bowl, or bowls of the same player, will count, if within a yard of the jack.  If no score, the player who won the previous end shall take the mat.

100 UP, 4 bowls play to 100 shots.  Scoring-first bowl 4 points, second bowl 3 points, third bowl 2 points, forth bowl 1 point.  The bowler with the shot bowl takes possession of the mat for the next end.

MUTUAL PAIRS, 4 bowls each played to 21 ends.

MUTUAL MIXED PAIRS, 4 bowls each played to 21 ends.

DRAWN PAIRS, 4 bowls each, played to 21 ends.

HANDICAP DRAWN PAIRS, 4 bowls each played to 21 ends, difference in handicaps to be played.

AUSTRALIAN 2-4-2 DRAWN PAIRS, 4 Bowls each played to 15 ends, handicap drawn one high one low, difference in handicaps to be played.  (Gorden Thompsett Memorial Trophy).

DRAWN TRIPLES, 3 bowls each, played to 18 ends.

Played on a fixed date (end of July).

DRISCOLL TROPHY, Drawn pairs 2 bowls each.  Handicaps not taken into account.

Played on a fixed date (first week in June).

DRAWN MIXED PAIRS, Drawn pairs, 2 bowls each.

Played on fixed date (early June).

TOP FLIGHT TROPHY, Mixed, 3 bowls each.

Played on fixed date (mid September).

WIGGS TROPHY, Men v. Ladies.

Played on fixed date.

TUESDAY EVENING LEAGUE, Mixed pairs, 3 bowls each, 15 ends.
